Vegan Guide to Peachtree City, Georgia (2025)

Every spring, fans of The Walking Dead migrate to the Senoia & Peachtree City area for the fan convention known as The Camp. As a vegan from Los Angeles, I wasn’t too sure what to expect in terms of vegan fare without heading north to Atlanta. I wanted to try as many local spots as I could without interrupting the flow of my event weekend, so I did my best to scope out the vegan options in my immediate vicinity – here’s what I found.

The Flying Biscuit Cafe

2874 GA-54
The Flying Biscuit was my first stop after getting off a red-eye from LAX, on my way to my first Camp. I had spent most of my trip prep time researching Walking Dead stuff, so this was the only food option I really had locked in, because I knew I would arrive hungry – and it was nice to begin my trip with a comforting meal. Their biscuits aren’t vegan, so the scramble comes with a side of whole wheat toast and cranberry-apple butter. They also have avocado toast with a side of Beyond sausage on their breakfast menu, and the lunch menu suggest substituting a Garden Burger patty or tofu on burgers and wraps to make then vegetarian – you might need to ask for specifics if you want to make them vegan. Both times I’ve visited, the staff was super nice and helpful when I had menu questions.

Yume Ramen

2808 GA-54
I picked up the vegan miso ramen and vegan bun for takeout, and brought it back to my hotel. Both were made with Impossible meat, and I was especially impressed with the ramen. They also have Impossible mini tacos on the menu, which sound interesting – served in a wonton shell with guacamole and cilantro.

Your Pie Pizza

2015 GA-54 W, Unit 115
I got a veggie pizza with vegan cheese delivered on the last night of the event, for a quiet movie night back at my room – and breakfast the next morning. This was also a solid option, and online ordering to make it vegan was easy.

The BeiRut

1025 N Peachtree Pkwy
This came highly recommended from a photographer I worked with on my second trip, and I’m glad I took her suggestion! She rattled off a few vegan options that I couldn’t remember, so I ordered in person and told the host I was medium-hungry but wanted to try a couple different things. He suggested the mezza platter: hummus, baba ghannouj, falafel, and fried cauliflower, which was great. If I remember correctly, I think the dip in the small container was yogurt, but there was enough going on without it.

Publix

130 Peachtree East Ct, Ste #4 • 1200 Highway 74 S Ste #20
My first Pub Sub! I stopped at Publix at the end of a long day, and my deli counter experience just made it longer. The sandwich maker was doing his best, but got hit with a late night customer rush – I wish I had clocked the time just for my own curiosity, because I feel like I’ve been in Disneyland queues that moved faster. They do have online ordering, so next time I would definitely do that to make things easier. The sandwich itself was tasty and filling, with generous portions of Unreal Deli turkey, Lightlife bacon, and Chao cheese. The only thing I wasn’t 100% a fan of was the vegan ranch – next time I would ask for it light or on the side.

CAVA

2777 GA-54
This was also my first time at CAVA, and even though they have quite a few locations in LA & Orange County, I still remember it as that place I went to in Georgia. It’s easy to figure out from their website what options are vegan, but I got overwhelmed with the build-your-own concept on the spot, so it was easier to go with a “fan favorite” and remove what’s not vegan (crazy feta) instead. The employee who helped me was very nice and double checked a couple of sauce ingredients to be sure. I don’t see the favorite I ordered on the current menu, but next time I might order ahead and do build-your-own on the website instead, so the vegan ingredients are easier to spot.

Foxtail Coffee

2713 GA-54, Unit B
Another recommendation from my photographer, I stopped at Foxtail Coffee multiple times (daily?) on my second trip. They do have fun flavored syrups and let me know which ones are vegan – I’m a sucker for anything pistachio – but I honestly just preferred their plain oat milk latte! They also have a vegan oatmeal pie, which was delicious but a little too much for me. And yes, discovering these two preferences did make me wonder if I am getting old.
