This guide was long overdue for an update!
I previously published my Vegan Guide to Knott’s in 2021, along with a few guides to their seasonal food events. Unfortunately, vegan options at Knott’s have somewhat diminished (and the ones that are left seem less exciting), so I have focused on covering vegan food at Disneyland instead. However, the outdated guide is still one of my highest traffic posts, so I decided it was time for a refresh.
And it seems like there are still a few solid options left, so not to worry if you are planning a day at Knott’s – you will still find something to eat! I hope this guide helps.
Menu information is based on the official Knott’s Berry Farm Food Allergen & Dietary Restrictions Guide, which was last updated in October 2025. I have found that items occasionally change on-site before their website is updated, so it may be good to check with a crew member in person if there is anything you’re unsure about.
** A note about snacks: popcorn and soft pretzels had previously been listed as vegan options, but they are not labeled as such in the current allergy guide. This seems odd to me and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were still vegan and this was an oversight. I will update when I’m able to confirm the ingredients, but please let me know if you find out first!
I also have a Knott’s Berry Farm Playlist on my YouTube channel covering past dining options and festivals.
I will continue to revise this post with new photos, reviews, and commentary as I am able to try more items for myself. I hope you will find this information helpful on your next visit to Knott’s Berry Farm, and please let me know if you have any questions or see any options that I missed!
CALIFORNIA MARKETPLACE
The Marketplace is located just outside the main gate, and can be accessed without park admission. Parking is free for the first hour.
Unfortunately, there don’t seem to be any current vegan options at the Marketplace restaurants. Farm Bakery used to have delicious vegan cupcakes, tarts, and other baked goods that would rotate seasonally and were always such a nice surprise. I hope they bring them back! Mrs. Knott’s also had vegan options on previous menus, but I don’t think they performed very well so it makes sense that they removed them. There is also a Starbucks in this area.
GHOST TOWN
Strictly on a Stick | Has french fries.
Panda Express | There is nothing marked vegan on the Knott’s allergy guide, but I think that might be a Panda Express policy due to the possibility of cross-contamination. The following items are reported to have no animal ingredients:
• chow mein
• super greens
• brown or white rice
• vegetable spring roll
• eggplant tofu
• fortune cookies
• apple pie roll
• sauces: chili, hot mustard, plum, soy, potsticker, sweet & sour, teriyaki

Sutter’s Pizza | Items marked vegan include cauliflower pizza, side salad, and vegan cheese pizza. The picture below is of a cauliflower crust pizza I had at Taste of Fall-O-Ween, and I’ve seen toppings rotate – so you might want to double check that the cheese on the current cauliflower pizza is vegan when ordering.

Sutter’s Grill | Has french fries.
Calico Saloon | The guide lists pickles, and popcorn packets. I’m not sure what popcorn packets are, but as mentioned above, the popcorn currently available at popcorn carts across the park is not labeled as vegan. Maybe this is a different, pre-packaged kind?
Chow Mix-It-Up | Various ICEE flavors, and lemonade.
Wilderness Dogs & Drinks | Has french fries.
Judge Roy Bean | Pickles.
Pemmican Pickle | Pickles, boysenberry beer, & ICEE are available.
Fireman’s BBQ | Baked potato, roasted veggies, corn on the cob.
FIESTA VILLAGE
Baja Taqueria | Has tortilla chips.
Casa California Restaurante | This is a build-your-own burrito, bowl, or salad restaurant with the following vegan ingredient options:
| • cilantro-lime rice • brown rice • black or pinto beans • soyrizo | • pico de gallo • salsa roja • salsa verde • tortilla chips | • guacamole • lettuce • 14″ tortilla |
Papas Mexicanas | This spot has a few fun non-vegan options for loaded fries, but only the base potatoes are vegan – shoestring fries, sidewinder fries, and sweet potato fries.
BOARDWALK
Coasters Diner | The allergy menu lists fries, onion rings, side salad, Boca Burger, vegan hot dog, and vegan chicken tenders as the options here. From what I’ve seen of the posted menu, I’m not even sure if they’re included, or more like secret options you have to ask for. I know at one point, the burger buns were not vegan – so the vegan burger option was a Boca Burger with no bun. I’m not sure about the hot dog buns, but they definitely had vegan buns in the park at Fiesta Dogs in the past. It would be worth clarifying when you go, and I will update when I’m able to check it out in person. Note: Photo below is from Fiesta Dogs (now closed), not this location.

Boardwalk BBQ | Roasted veggies, berry salad.
Supreme Scream Dippin’ Dots | Currently, the only Dippin’ Dots flavors listed on the allergy menu are rainbow and boysenberry. Typically, the “Ice” flavors of Dippin’ Dots will be vegan-friendly, except for the one that contains popping candy. If you are unsure about a specific flavor, I would recommend Googling the ingredients or asking a crew member.

Prop Shop Pizzaria | Weirdly, this location doesn’t have vegan pizza listed on the allergy menu. But they do have vegan bolognese, marinara, mixed veggies, spring mix salad, penne, spaghetti, and gluten-free pasta. This is also build-your-own style, so you choose your pasta base, sauce, and toppings.
CAMP SNOOPY
Grizzly Creek Lodge | Has vegan chicken tenders, french fries, cauliflower pizza, fruit, and ICEE.
Cave Inn Snacks | ICEE.
SOAK CITY – WATER PARK
Lighthouse Cart | Popsicles and fruit bowls.
Portside Pizza | Vegan pizza, popsicles, fruit.
Longboards | French fries, mixed veggies, vegan Impossible Burger.
Cabanas | Vegan Impossible Burger.
KNOTT’S BERRY FARM HOTEL
You may walk past the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel if you park in the lot just south of the park, and it is only 0.3 miles from the front gate. I have not stayed here myself yet but I would like to, and I will update when I do!
Amber Waves | The hotel restaurant is not included on the Knott’s vegan guide, but looking at their menu online it looks like they may have some very limited options, such as a fruit plate and salads with modifications. I will update if/when I eat here, but as the menu exists now it is not a high priority.
I am not currently a Season Passholder, but I hope to make my way back and fill out this guide a bit more when time allows. You can also find more theme park content on my YouTube channel, and on Instagram at @vegan.dynamite.
