Vegan Guide to Disneyland – February 2026 Updates

This is still a work in progress, because there are so many things to try! I will continue to update with photos and reviews as I work my way around the park.

Revised in February 2026 with the following updates:
There have been quite a few updated menus across both parks that were introduced this month. So far, I’ve tried new plant based eats at Jolly Holiday, Bengal Barbecue, Cafe Orleans, River Belle Terrace, Rancho del Zocalo, Harbour Galley and Cafe Daisy. The last few items on my list are new dishes at Blue Bayou, and returning dishes at Carnation Cafe and Plaza Inn – that will just about complete the Disneyland guide!

Note: For now, this only covers Disneyland Park. When I start working on Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney, and Disneyland Resort Hotels, they will get their own dedicated posts. I’ve started drafting the DCA post, so look for that soon!

If you have questions or want to share your own finds, come join 700+ members in the Vegans of Disneyland Facebook group.

Carnation Cafe
table service, reservation recommended

[menu]

Carnation Cafe has a breakfast menu and a lunch/dinner menu, but the transition times may change so be sure to double check for the date you visit. I like to request a patio table here, and take in the Main Street ambiance. They do have soy milk available for your coffee or tea, and as of 2023 they also serve alcohol (wine, beer, cocktails, and mimosas).

Overnight Oats • 9.00
Served with fresh berries and bananas

Allergy Menu: Vegan Mickey Waffles
Made with allergy-friendly batter
This used to be off-menu, but it looks like it’s now included on the allergy menu. The menu version comes with (non-vegan) sausage or bacon, but I ordered mine with fresh fruit. Let your server know you are vegan, and there may be other side options available.

Hearty Veggie Burger • 22.00
House-made bean patty, vine-ripened tomato, chipotle mayo and slaw on an artisan bun, served with fresh fruit or fries
I finally made it to Carnation to try the veggie burger! They have had some iteration of this burger on the menu for several years, with a hearty patty made of beans and veggies. This is one of the best bean patties I’ve had – it’s not too dry, it held together pretty well, and had a nice crunch to it. The overall texture with the fresh veggies and soft ciabatta was great. It was a very filling meal; I showed up hungry, hoping I could try the brownie or salad on this visit as well, but I was stuffed from the burger alone. Next time!

Carnation Garden Salad • 9.00
Lettuce, carrots, cucumber, radishes, fennel, tomatoes, croutons and green goddess dressing
This is like a side salad with more personality, and I enjoyed it! On the menu, the dressing is referred to as “avocado ranch,” and I wonder if that’s because “green goddess” sounds too vegan. The dressing was great – I would love to have it at home! I came for the brownie on this day but felt like I also needed some veggies, so this salad served it’s purpose, but I would say it’s probably too small to have as a meal by itself.

Brownie with Chocolate Sauce • 10.00
Warm chocolate brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and a Luxardo maraschino cherry
I was really impressed by this, and happy to see that Disneyland is finally rounding out its plant-based initiative with some desserts. I’ve never been a fan of maraschino cherries, and some brands are not vegan, but these were flavorful and had a nice crunch. The brownie was warm and moist, and topped with melty vegan ice cream. This will be something I come back for, for sure.

Ice Cream Float • 9.50
Plant-based vanilla ice cream with choice of fountain beverage.

Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

Plant-Based Vanilla Ice Cream • 5.79
This is a pretty new addition, and I was able to try it on my most recent visit to the park. I got mine with peanuts, but they also have strawberry available as a vegan topping. Although mobile order is available at this location, I haven’t seen the plant-based flavor showing up in the app, so you may need to order in person.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

Garden Grain Salad • 11.99
Arugula, roasted red pepper, cucumber, couscous, farro, garbanzo beans, tomatoes, croutons and red wine vinaigrette, served with a breadstick
I will admit I tried this on a two-review day after eating the bean salad from Bengal BBQ, and my hunger-level may have influenced how much I enjoyed (or didn’t) this dish. 😅 I thought it was just okay, but I would be willing to try it again on a day that I’m hungrier. I forgot that it came with a bread stick, so I ordered one on the side, and both were stale. Maybe it was an off day for Jolly Holiday, too, because most people I know really like their food!

Plaza Inn
table service, reservation recommended

[menu]

Penne Pasta with Marinara • 15.99
Topped with Parmesan cheese and served with a breadstick
** modification: omit Parmesan to make it vegan

Minne & Friends Character Breakfast • 46.00 adult, 27.00 child (ages 3-9)
Meet Minnie and other Disney pals at this all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast buffet
The last time I did this breakfast was 2019, and I can’t find a photo of my plate, but here I am with Rafiki! I know I had the allergy-friendly Mickey waffles, breakfast potatoes, and possibly a tofu scramble. Since this a buffet, you can speak to your server and ask what vegan items are available for special order. I hope to do a rundown of all the character breakfasts at some point, but based on my past experience, the perks that Plaza Inn has to offer are more characters and a great location. If you’re looking for a slightly larger vegan menu, I might suggest trying a character breakfast at Storytellers or Goofy’s Kitchen. But if you want to meet characters you don’t usually get to see, and eat breakfast on Main Street at a location Walt frequented, try Plaza Inn.

Bengal Barbecue
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

Bulgogi Bean Salad • 6.49
Cucumber, edamame, chickpeas and bell peppers, tossed in ginger-scallion dressing
This is definitely one of the most budget-friendly options in the parks, and I’d say it’s more filling and nutrient-dense than some of the more expensive salads. 😬 This is served chilled, has a light spice, and I enjoyed the added crunch from the cucumber and bell pepper. Seems like it will be a nice refreshing option as we get into warmer weather!

Tiki Juice Bar
quick service, mobile order required

[menu]

Come to the Tiki Juice Bar for classic pineapple Dole Whip and Dole Whip floats. If you’re looking to try a different flavor or specialty whip, you’ll want to head around the corner to the Tropical Hideaway. Note: This location has changed to mobile-order only, so plan to order ahead! I’ve found that mobile-order windows are usually available on pretty short notice, so you might be able to order from your phone as you walk up, but not always.

Dole Whip • 6.49
DOLE Whip® pineapple soft serve

Dole Whip Float • 7.29
DOLE® pineapple juice topped with DOLE Whip® pineapple soft serve

The Tropical Hideaway
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

Tropical Hideaway sits just next to Jungle Cruise, and is a great place to relax and enjoy some Adventureland vibes. This location does not require mobile order, but I do recommend it because it can get quite busy.

Tropical Hideaway often carries special seasonal whips, and as of today (July 4) they are offering a pineapple coconut float, and pineapple ginger mint float, which you can find descriptions of here. I’m not adding them to the list below because I can’t confirm if they are vegan, but they seem like they might be except for the gummy candy on the coconut float. I will try to check this out next time I am in the park, because they both sound interesting!

Dole Whip • 6.49
DOLE Whip® pineapple soft serve

Dole Whip Swirl • 6.49
Swirl any two flavors: pineapple, strawberry, mango

Dole Whip Float • 7.29
DOLE® Pineapple Juice topped with DOLE Whip® Pineapple Soft Serve

Chili-Mango Whip • 8.49
Pineapple and mango swirl DOLE Whip®, chamoy, mango and chile-lime seasoning

Chili-Mango Whip

Blue Bayou Restaurant
table service, reservation recommended

[menu]

Crescent City Salad • 15.00
Field organic greens, farmers market vegetables, sunflower seeds and sensation salad dressing

Magnolia Park Pasta • 32.00
Peppers, okra and mushrooms with a piquant creamy tomato sauce

Crème Brûlée Tart • 10.00
Vanilla bean crème brûlée in a tart shell

Cafe Orleans
table service, reservation recommended

[menu]

Provençal Bean & Herb Pesto Salad • 14.00
Field beans, olives, heirloom tomatoes and pickled shallots with pesto dressing
I thought this salad was delicious, and I especially loved the dressing – but like many of the new salads, it felt like it was missing a little something. Definitely more of an appetizer salad and not an entrée. I think it’s worth trying if you come to Cafe Orleans, especially if you love pesto. I also think it’s prettier in person, but maybe not the most photogenic. 🤣

Garden Vegetable Shepherd’s Pie • 26.00
Okra, onions, carrots and mushrooms, topped with mashed potatoes
I’m not sure where I got the idea that there was Impossible meat in this, but I realize now that wasn’t listed in the description, and I think that expectation might have skewed my opinion a little. 😅 Now that I know it was just SUPPOSED to be veggies, I think I like it more! It is definitely pretty mushroom-heavy, so if you’re not a mushroom person I would skip it. This was great for winter, and Cafe Orleans seems to change their menu seasonally, so make a reservation soon if you want to try it.

Crème Brûlée Tart • 10.00
Vanilla bean crème brûlée in a tart shell
I’ve heard from many people who love this dessert, even some who specifically seek it out every time they plan a Disneyland vacation. I liked it, but my first taste got me thinking I might not be a crème brûlée person. I tried it again (twice) in January, and this time it had more of a crunch, and I definitely enjoyed it more. I’ve heard suspicions that the Blue Bayou crème brûlée is more elite, but I’m pretty sure it’s the exact same preparation at a slightly higher price. I have my Blue Bayou reservation in April, so I will let you know what I find out!

River Belle Terrace
table service, reservation recommended

[menu]

Farmhouse Salad • 18.00
Garden greens, garden farm vegetables, avocado and heirloom tomatoes
I really enjoyed this salad as a starter. I felt like the croutons and avocado gave it a little something extra, compared all the other new salads. The herb dressing was pretty dill-heavy, which always makes me worry the whole thing is going to taste like pickles (I say this as someone who loves pickles), but it did not. This might not be something I get again, only because I’m not an $18 starter salad girlie, but I’m glad to have tried it!

Impossible Meatloaf • 22.00
Served with roasted potatoes, garden farm vegetables, tomato glaze and fried shallots
This was definitely the star of the show at River Belle for me. Disneyland has cut way back on meat substitutes in the past year or so, which vegan park-goers seem pretty divided over. But I appreciate that they still left a few solid options for those who want them! This meatloaf was pretty perfect, and so were the simple side of tomatoes and roasted potatoes it came with. My server asked if I wanted an extra side of the tomato glaze, which I took her up on and would recommend!

Chocolate Brownie • 10.00
Vanilla ice cream, marshmallows and toasted almonds
Not quite as good as the brownie à la mode at Carnation Cafe (in my opinion), but a close second! Mine was a little over-done, but that could also be because it was only a day or two after the new menus came out and they were still fine tuning the process? I love that they’re even aware that vegan marshmallows exist, and to put them on a brownie sundae is *chefs kiss* perfection.

Tiana’s Palace
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

7 Greens Gumbo • 14.99
White beans, okra, yams, sweet potatoes and heirloom rice
I’ve only had this once, but it might be one of my favorite dishes in the parks! It’s surprisingly hearty for theme park food, very flavorful, and only a little spicy. I do miss the original veggie gumbo in a bread bowl from royal street veranda, but I think the new gumbo recipe is an upgrade – and it’s much easier to eat! There are still often vegan soups available in a bread bowl if that’s what you’re in the mood for, you’ll find those at Royal Street Veranda and Harbour Galley.

Harbour Galley
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

Ratatouille Soup • 12.99
Roasted tomatoes, garlic, zucchini and eggplant, garnished with roasted squash and eggplant, with garlic bread topper
This is one of my favorites off the new 2026 menus! The soup was delicious, and I especially loved the garlic bread topper – I would totally order a cup of soup with the garlic top on the side if they offered it. The bread bowl feels like a nostalgic Disneyland vegan experience, because years ago their veggie gumbo in a bread bowl was one of the only vegan options in the park! This dish was a bit elevated by comparison (and so is the new gumbo at Tiana’s) but I love when the classics come back around.

Hungry Bear Restaurant
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

Corn Ribs Plate • 14.99
Chili-lime aioli, parmesan, crispy onions, cilantro and scallions, with coleslaw and beer-battered fries
This is great if you want a meal that’s also an activity–it took me quite a while to eat. 🤣 I liked it a lot more than I expected, the elote-style toppings were flavorful and the corn was juicy. It’s not the most filling meal in the parks; I would consider it a light meal or an extra-large snack. Definitely worth a try if you’re curious!

Red Rose Taverne
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

– BREAKFAST & LUNCH –

Little Town Harvest Bowl • 9.99
Quinoa, roasted mushrooms and cauliflower, arugula, tomato, taverne potato bites and spicy lime aïoli
I kept missing this when it was a breakfast item, but now it’s served all day! I really enjoyed this bowl, and it might replace the Hungry Bear burger as my Disneyland comfort meal. In case you were wondering, I did use the ketchup and hot sauce, but it was still tasty without it!

– DINNER –

Veggie Fantasyland Faire Fold • 14.79
Flour tortilla filled with cauliflower quinoa, arugula, hash browns, cheese and chile-lime aioli
I finally got to try this in December 2025 – sorry it’s not the best photo, it gets dark before the dinner menu switch these days! This is basically the same ingredients as the Little Town Harvest Bowl offered here at breakfast/lunch, and I definitely like the wrap version but prefer the bowl version more. I would still order this again, but the crunchy tots are superior!

Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante
quick service, no mobile order

[menu]

Hacienda Salad • 12.99
Kale-romaine mix, cilantro avocado ranch, grilled achiote-marinated mushrooms, grilled nopal salsa and grilled chile-lime corn riblets
Disneyland has introduced a lot of new salads with their 2026 menu updates, and this one is probably my favorite. It’s super flavorful, and all of the different elements make it a fun dish to eat! Like many of their new dishes, I do wish it had more protein – black beans would have worked really well. I definitely plan to order this again with beans on the side, so I’ll report back when I do!

Alien Pizza Planet
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

Spaghetti with Marinara • 11.99
Spaghetti tossed in marinara sauce, topped with parmesan

Off-Menu: Allergy-Friendly Pizza
It’s been a few years since I’ve had this pizza, and I’m not sure of the current price since it’s not on the regular menu. Alien Pizza Planet is counter-service style, so you’ll have to ask a cast member if they can make you a personal vegan pizza. At one point, the gluten-free crust temporarily contained egg, but I don’t think that’s usually the case – the cast member should be able to let you know. I remember the first time I got this, I was stoked to be eating vegan pizza at Disneyland, but nowadays there are so many other things I would rather eat. It still might be a great option for kids, or less adventurous eaters.

Galactic Grill
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

Soy Chorizo Country Breakfast Burrito • 11.99
Soy chorizo, spiced potatoes, grilled peppers, onions, egg, cheddar, pico de gallo and chipotle sauce in a spinach flour tortilla
I thought this was a great option for breakfast, with seasoned potatoes and soyrizo – flavorful but not too spicy, and hot sauce is available if you need it. My only complaint is that I wish it was served a little warmer.. like, at least hot enough to melt the cheese? The Harvest Bowl at Red Rose Taverne is still probably my favorite savory breakfast in the parks, but I would definitely get this again if I’m in the mood!

Black Bean Veggie Wrap • 13.49
Black bean and fire-roasted corn medley, mixed greens, cheese and sun-dried tomato spread served with choice of Cuties® mandarin orange or french fries

Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

Felucian Falafel and Hummus Garden Spread • 13.29
Chickpea falafel, roasted beet hummus, and beet-tomato-cucumber relish topped with garlic toum sauce and served with grilled pita
This recipe is a new version of the previous dish (pictured below), which had been at Docking Bay 7 since the opening of Galaxy’s Edge. Instead of Impossible meat, this version includes chickpea falafel, as well as a new relish and sauce. I hope to try this and update the photo on my next visit!

Kat Saka’s Kettle
quick service, no mobile order

[menu]

I always love the interesting popcorn mixes at Kat Saka’s Kettle. As far as I know they have all been vegan, but they don’t list them as plant-based in the app, and I haven’t been able to verify the current flavors – the “butter” they use has usually been coconut oil, and I believe I have had the first flavor on a previous rotation. I will try to visit this location soon, because they’ve also added something called a Kinyenian Topato Pie which sounds interesting, and seems like it could be vegan!

Crait Butter Popped Grains • 7.59
With Crait red salt

Kublag Spiced Savory Popped Grains • 7.59
A mild spicy Cajun seasoning with a hint of sweet lemon

Milk Stand
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

I am squarely on team Blue Milk, and I can’t say that I’ve had the urge to try Green Milk more than one time, right when Galaxy’s Edge opened. They both have a coconutty base, but to me, Blue Milk tastes a little fruity and slightly floral, while Green Milk had citrus with a hint of grass. It’s hard to pick out the exact flavors in these drinks, and I think that’s kind of the point!

Green Milk • 8.99
Plant-based blend of coconut and rice milk with zippy citrus and tropical characteristics

Blue Milk • 8.99
Plant-based blend of coconut and rice milk with alluring fruity characteristics

Ronto Roasters
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

Ronto-less Garden Wrap • 14.49
Plant-based sausage, spicy kimchi slaw, sweet pickled cucumber, plant-based gochujang spread, wrapped in pita
The Ronto-less Garden Wrap was introduced with the opening of Galaxy’s Edge in 2019, and it is still one of my favorite vegan items in the park. When friends ask me for Disneyland food advice, this makes the shortlist of must-trys. I even made Happiest Vegan on Earth’s copycat recipe when the parks were closed in 2020 – it turned out great, even though it was a lot of effort! Walt Disney World also has a breakfast version of this wrap, but on Batuu West you will only find it for lunch and dinner.

Cafe Daisy
quick service, mobile order available

[menu]

Cesar Salad Garden Wrap • 13.49
Romaine and kale salad with sun-dried tomato-bean spread and creamy caesar dressing, served with fries
This is similar to the Spring Garden Wrap that was on the menu here for a year or two – and while it’s still a good option, I strongly prefer the previous version! I’ve included both photos for reference, and you can see it was more substantial in size, and more nutritious/filling with the addition of quinoa and edamame. I also preferred the old dressing, and the seasoned kettle chips it came with were almost worth coming back for on their own! The new version is fine, but it’s just veggies with caesar dressing, and the chips have been swapped for shoestring fries. This is still a nice light lunch, but if you’re looking for a heartier wrap, I’d go for the Fantasy Faire Fold at Red Rose Taverne.
